Puerto Penasco, known as Rocky Point, is located on the Northern tip of the Gulf of California, also called the Sea of Cortez. Temperatures most of the year average a delightful 72 degrees. From Phoenix, Arizona's Metropolitan City or Tucson, Arizona's second largest city, it is only a 3 and 1/2 hour drive by car. Puerto Penasco has beautiful open beaches for everyone with water that is 10 degrees warmer than San Diego. The best swimming is from May through October and fishing and water sports are popular year round.

Uno Mas Azul & Guest Quarters - Las Conchas - Sleeps up to 12   Uno Mas consists of one full size home and a guest quarters, Uno Mas Azul and Uno Mas guest quarters, which may be rented separately or together. Uno Mas Azul has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, large windows with a view of the ocean, and private bath. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and a set of bunk beds. The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher and all other major appliances, and small appliances including a microwave, blender, coffeemaker and toaster. Uno Mas Azul has a great room area that has ample seating, a fireplace, satellite TV with VCR and DVD, large breakfast bar with stools, dining table, and beautiful views of the ocean. Check-in: Normal check-in time is 4:00 pm. If you would like an earlier check-in time, you must consult with our management office prior to your departure.

Check-out: Normal check-out time is no later than 11:00 am. Our cleaning crew must have sufficient time to get the unit ready for the next guest. We appreciate your cooperation in honoring our policy. Please check with our rental office for the availability of late check out.

What to bring: Because Rocky Point is within 75 miles of the border, a Passport or Birth Certificate is not required. However, if you are a citizen of another country, it is always safer to have government issued identification when travelling outside of the U.S. If you are a foreign national other than U.S., check with your local embassy. VEHICLE REGISTRATION is very important for purchasing Mexican auto insurance. You can purchase this insurance at any border neighboring gas stations and convenience stores. Money conversion is not necessary prior to the trip from the U.S. You can use the U.S. dollar in town and some establishments accept traveler's checks and credit cards. You can always use local money, Pesos. A flashlight will come in handy in the case of a power outage. You must bring your own BEACH and BATH TOWELS, SUN BLOCK and HAT for skin protection.

What NOT to bring: ATV's, wave runners, etc. are prohibited within the community of Las Conchas for visitors. You can bring them if you have a place to store them elsewhere. You can rent ATV's or wave runners in town as well. NO DRUGS and NO GUNS.

No Smoking/No Pets: Smoking is limited to outdoors. Please keep the deck butt free. No FIREWORKS in Las Conchas. The violator will be fined by the association.

Groceries: You can get most supplies at the local markets, although the bargains are things of the past. It is most economical to bring your own supplies from home. There are no restrictions with regard to the food you bring into Mexico, but you cannot take back any meat, fruits, or vegetables to the U.S.

Transportation: The AIRPORT is a port of entry for private planes. No domestic airlines are available at this time. TAXI SERVICES are available from the airport. The fare is approximately $7.00-$9.00 (U.S. dollar) from the airport into town. CAR RENTALS are limited and the vehicles that are available are older models. The rental fee ranges from $35.00 - $40.00 US dollar per day. VAN SERVICES are also available from Phoenix and Tucson airports.

House keeping: Mid-week linen service is available upon your request for full week reservations. For this service the charge is $10, which will be deducted from your deposit.

Medical Emergencies: There are several good facilities available. More information will be included in your lodging packet.
